WHAT THIS DOES!

Combines the artistic with the written
Has the potential to get your work publish in Nintendo Power
Shows Nintendo that there is still an interest in EarthBound
Makes awesome art showing your EB pride
Helps build community with other artists here!

THE GUIDELINES

Must be about EarthBound, SSB with EB in it, or Mother 3. Try to Promote MOTHER3 as much as you can.
Must be on an envelope, any size, preferably a #10 (standard) or an envelope smaller than an 8.5x11, Manillas are also acceptable
Include a letter, poem, haiku, ransom note, whatever; something that says how you feel about EB.
Make it positive and constructive about EarthBound and do not get hostile towards Nintendo
Try to mark or hide the Starmen.Net emblem (triangle and three rectangles) somewhere in the work to note that it was done from this site.
Do not put the address of Nintendo Power on there - these will be delivered in person
Make as many as you can, but make them high-quality and visually interesting!

HOW TO EXECUTE!

Create some EarthBound artwork on an Envelope!
Write your letter, insert into Envelope (this step is optional)
Insert your completed envelope art(s) into a larger envelope
Write "Do Not Bend" on the outside carrier envelope and mail it to the address below
Make sure that you put on the proper postage! Standard postage is $0.42, but if the envelope is large or heavy, you need more than that!

1st DUE DATE/MAIL BY: JUNE 20th, 2007
If it is mailed in by this time, it will be part of a special project.

2nd DUE DATE/MAIL BY: JULY 6th, 2007
If it is mailed by this date it will only be part of a special presentation.

What will be done is that these letter will collected by me, scannned in ultra-resolution and posted for all to see. The more important thing is that these envelopes are going to be collected and presented to Nintendo (NoA) IN PERSON by myself in July. Like last time when this occured, there was a full page talking about EB and highlighted an article on the previous NP Siege. We aim to do this again and continue the impression. This is only one phase of many phases to come. Get those pencils, pens, digital tools going because this is going to be high profile and we are going to make sure that Nintendo remembers us! Make Starmen.Net and EarthBound proud. Let's EB SIEGE!

Sent my letter. Jonk, you should get it tommorow or monday. The reason i say it should come soon is tht you live in the same area of the same state as me. (Conyers, GA)

Enclosed are 5 or six letter with art inside of them and on the outside of them. Also i copied down the Mother 3 PSI list onto one of the letters.

and I'm going to take that one and put it in another envelope with some writing and send it all to Jonk, right?

DO NOT MARK A NINTENDO ADDRESS ON THE ENVELOPE ART. These are going to be hand delivered to NoA themselves, so it doesnt need an address. Just the written letter inside needs to refer to (ie: Dear Nintendo, Reggie, etc)

OR, have the drawing span two or more envelopes.

Also, I'm not 100% positive, but I think that when Jonk said "DRAW YOUR ART", he may have meant hand-drawn art (I may be wrong though, so Jonk, please clearly state if it's hand-drawn only or not). I'm saying this mostly because if I remember right, the last NP Siege was hand-drawn only.

I want people to hand draw the art. If you are a digital artist, you can print it out if you must, but sign it and date it if you do.I really want to emphasize the hand-drawn.
