WHAT!!!? GRRRR!!! It's official, NOA is TRYING to make Mother fans angry. What's next, an interview with Reggie and he says "Truthfully, Mother fans really shouldn't get their hopes up. We have absolutly NO plans to release anymore Mother games in America in any shape or form. If they REALLY want Mother so badly, they should stick to ROMs, imports, eBay, and their silly little fan translations." Some serious sparks would fly after that.

Woah, woah! Calm down here! I know, this was a cruel joke, but do remember- Nintendo Power did write a large article about Starmen.net. I think they're fully aware of us and I believe the chances of getting the Mother series to come to America are higher than they've ever been before, thanks to reidman and all the others who have contributed to this site. We've done PK Mail'n, Call'n, etc. and resident artists have made all sorts of art, music, fangames, etc. based on Mother, like the EarthBound Anthology, Meeellla's resin figures, and everyone's art (In the broadest sense of the term). Remember that Nintendo Power also isn't exactly Nintendo's, they just are very good partners. I've become a huge fan of this series in only a month, and I know that there are many others out there that don't go on Starmen.net. Don't give up, and don't get irritated. There is always hope. If there isn't that, I don't know how I could love this game as much as I do!
....And thus ends my long speech about EarthBound and it's relation to Nintendo Power... And yeah, this is how I vent my anger. I type quickly, and my mind works tenfold. I could make millions when I'm angry!

Wow, that was messed up. I got really excited for a second there. Geez. Evil.
The thing that makes it real messed up is, that they joke about Kingdom hearts, and they joke about mother 3. Logic would tell you that either its both of them or neither since they joke about both, but something tells me its only kingdom hearts. sadness
There must be a department at Nintendo that likes to piss off Earthbound fans. And this month they said "Let's advertise Kingdom Hearts, bust randomly mention Mother 3. That outta piss off those Earthbound fans!"

because nintendo doesn't care about you and the new publishers of this magazine obviously see Mother fans as a big joke.
MOTHER 3 won't produce enough $$$ for them here or in the PAL regions. Most US gamers would rather play GTA4, Halo 3, Guitar Hero, some stupid sports game that identical to the one they bought last year or Guitar Hero
. There are about 4 gamestops just in walking distance of where I live (NYC) and you see the same thing at all of them. If the game doesn't have a gun or an athlete on the cover people just say its "gay"

And Nintendo, these days pretty much spends all it's advertising dollars towards people who don't even play video games. So unless you're just a fan of one of their old franchises, you're pretty much dead to them.
