Kingdom Hearts. No chance it's Mother 3 news. -Fit for a "King", lots of "Heart". urk -Why would they toy with our emotions like this? I don't know if I can stay in this abusive relationship with NP anymore. I'm saying NO!!

If it is just a joke then that sucks.

But this does show that they are willing to show that they are aware that we want Mother 3 so maybe there is something going on with that as well...

I can be optimistic.

-Everyone is aware we want Mother 3. Literally, there's been so much coverage of us wanting it, there can't be a soul alive associated with Nintendo that doesn't realize it. But oh well.

And see, the thing that bothers me is that it's not a well-placed joke. It's not particularly funny, which gives the illusion of "things to come". If they were actually kidding, they would, well, make it funny. You know?

Could be Kingdom Hearts as well as MOTHER 3, I mean, it does say big <u>"reveals,"</u> hopefully indicating more than one.

KINGdom HEARTs 3 So it seems more so like Kingdom Hearts 3 on the Wii as opposed to coverage for 358/2 Days on the DS.

But that's not saving NP from being evil for mocking us.

I'm pretty mad at this too, but lets not get our hopes up. They said just kidding to Mother 3, but they never said just kidding to Mother 1+2+3 for the DS. Think about it guys.

Eh, I think it might be another Fire Emblem game. Only cause the picture includes a sword, not a keyblade. But then again, it might be that time where a Kingdom hearts game is coming to the DS... Could be ether one.

NP tends o mock others a lot, there Magazine has too much satire.

I don't think Kingdom Hearts is any more likely than Mother 3. Their king and heart mentions, though vague, are very easy to decipher as relating to Kingdom Hearts. However, it's followed by a "Just kidding" just like the (considerably less vague) mention of Mother 3.

It does seem cruel to get both of these fan bases riled up like that, but... at least we're a group worth teasing?

I'm trying to find a positive light to this.

I think Nintendo thinks that everytime they pull a teaser, somebody shouts, "Mother 3!" That's what happened the last couple of times anyway.

If it IS Mother 3, I'm gonna scream into the world, I'll be in Video game heaven :d , if it is not Mother 3 , I'm gonna kill Reggie and Kenny! Well, the next issue preview has a sword thing in the ground, it could possibly be one of the seven needles, and the fit for a king may refer to the pig king, and the lot of heart must mean Hinawa. It HAS to be Mother 3, the signs are there, clearly. (heart jumps) Please be Mother 3, PLEASE be Mother 3!

Man, and the image associated with the scan looks so much like a needle. They may be trying some reverse psychology on us. Do you think? No, I don't either.

I guarantee someone at Nintendo Power monitors this site and put that little blurb in thinking to himself "Let's see how the react to THIS!"

I think it could be about the Wii game, Little King's Story.

As far as jokes go, it's mildly amusing from an objective standpoint. Of course, it's salt in all our wounds, but what can you do. No point in getting your hopes up for anything, but the way I look at it at least we're remembered. They may not be giving us what we want, but this is keeping the name and the cause out there, and that will keep it fresh in other people's minds too. There's no such thing as bad publicity. Meh, on the other hand, it's pretty sucky of them to do to all the desperate fans out there.

Y'know, after the part that hints Kingdom Hearts, it says, "Just kidding." and saying something about MOTHER 3 could be hinting that one or two will be released. ...I'm just going to try to be optimistic as possible, but, if you want to blow up at Nintendo, that's cool. Whatever floats your boat.

Anyway.

I think that the whole point of putting in the part about "king and "Heart" is to make people think of Kingdom Hearts. If it's that obvious, then they may just be joking around, as with Mother 3, and the reveals may have nothing to do with KH.

The sword in the picture doesn't quite look like the Falchion Blade, but it still may be hinting a a stateside release of FE DS. KH doesn't use that sort of sword; it uses Keyblades, and Link never used a sword with such a weird hilt either. Still, FE/Zelda are reasonable guesses, I'd say...

Why does everyone here keep saying how much of a cruel joke this is? It's all speculation, and I'm thrilled that they even took the time to mention it. What better way to make people aware of Mother 3 than by mentioning the game in a magazine that's read by millions every month. Even if it is just a joke (which we won't find out until next month), it actually works to our benefit anyways. It's evident that Nintendo has recognized us, and if it's legal issues that's stopping them, well then NoA can't really be blamed, so please stop it with the "Nintendo hates us" crap.

i wish this issue was the April issue so then they could say "APRIL FOOLS, IT IS MOTHER 3" in the next issue. Oh well
