I'm starting to get the feeling that everyone at Nintendo but the translation higher-ups want Mother 3.
I would actually say that eveyone at Nintendo instead of the corporate decision makers want Mother/EarthBound in the US again.
Uh, the blue discs were never a component of an NP Siege. Similarly, the blue discs were probably never anywhere near being in the possession of Nintendo of America. Furthermore, the sidebar was composed of submissions from Starmen.net - and I don't believe any of the site's higher-ups have ever been anywhere near the discs themselves.

Still, I knew this would happen eventually. I wouldn't go as far as saying "Everyone at Nintendo but the big mean corporate guys want Mother 3! >:O" (unless that's actually something someone can say from experience), but I will say that I think NP at least wants Mother 3. They keep mentioning it, and talking about EarthBound.

And is the Flashback section fairly new? its good to see NP taking a look back at games from the past. It would make sense to release games for the Wii that are featured in this section.... One can only hope.
Nintendo's typos are frequent and ongoing for year, in first party game guides; ie: Earthbound, and just about any first party game made around the N64 era.
But I gotta say, that it's good to see we're getting some positive PR, but I honestly don't think our forum traffic level will change, maybe on the mainpage though.

actually, Ness's is correct as the possesive. As long as it is a nomenclature is a singular, the rule is [NAME]'s as the possesive context. Just because Ness's name ends in a "s", that does not matter if it is a title.

I'm glad Nintendo Power finally admitted that Starmen.net exists. I heard that they don't usually cite fan sites in their magazine. So if this is true then starmen.net is truly awesome!

It was really cool to see this. I wish I had been around long enough to participate in the Mother 3 petition. However, I would love to participate in a NP Siege sometime. I guess it's better to start showing support later than never. Thanks for posting!

He probaly spelled it Onnett because thats the way the writer thought it's pernounced (On-Net), thus the reason he spelled it that way.

Since there's only one "n" in the official spelling, I've come to the conclusion that it's supposed to be pronounced "Oh-net." If it were pronounced "On-it," it would be spelled with two n's.
