Because facebook pages take 3.5 minutes to make, and making worthy content that is likely to be checked over, remade, checked over again, checked to make sure it’s content we want the public to see at this point, confirm that it’s in it’s final state of being, or very very near it’s final state of being, having all (or most) members of the team NOT see a problem with said content being released, and finally, put together in a presentable form and still unpublished, is a much more painful and intricate process.
The Facebook page was an obvious yes when the question was presented to the team as a whole, though I personally, rarely use it, and despise society’s obsession with it.
Beyond that, do we want to nitpick over ONE little thing for hours on end, or just keep working on the actual product, which will shock and awe all, but especially nay-sayers, upon release?
That explained, consider the updates we do give to our fans, whom we do adore greatly, more or less, a favor, considering there is much to be done.
And no, the game will not be released soon. That is because it will be released when it has been absolutely decided that it’s each and every aspect will be pristine, and truly what we, and hopefully our fans, would hope and expect to see in a true Mother 4.
Mother 4 is not on hiatus, and while some aspects may have slowed (which would be in my department, admittedly), others, such as Dave’s department, are flying along at speeds you would expect from a team of professionals.
Today, I am sitting down with Dave while he busts down a whole chunk of what the engine needs to have done, where there will be questions, reviews, more reviews, and consequently, more questions that need answering, and a review concerning their answers.
And then, today perhaps, but soon nonetheless, the same will happen to a new chapter of the story that answers questions that otherwise would have, unanswered, caused a plothole in the story, which will call for some numbers to be changed, since we are toying with the actual balance a bit now.
We’re working. We’re sorry if the random individual doesn’t like ____ aspect of the way we’re doing it.
Personally, I would be offended at what this team is doing from an outside view. I’ll be honest. "Who do these nobodies think they are?" I would say, and there would be much hiss, hissing, though I would not bother to post it on the internet. To think that a team of three to seven youths could create a true Mother 4 is dreaming.
I daresay, the dream is coming true. That is why I support, and work tirelessly on, this project. Upon release, I pray that all who will give this game a chance will understand. We entitle this project "Mother 4", not because we are foolishly ambitious, and not because we crave attention. We are making Mother 4 because we want one, and we personally are making it, because we are up to the task.

That said, I would say Konchaku’s lengthy post is certainly excused.
