I actually really like the redone sprites Toast. Good job, and err… since I’m helping, would you mind putting me on the Team Members list? Thanks ^^

One thing though, I think Wally is supposed to look really angry, instead of smiling sinisterly… it looks kinda weird as a smile, so I’d play around with it a little. Just a suggestion.

Since I am the guy who organizes the animations, I think i can make it look like some laser. And yes, I will still work on EB2.2 also, although I’ve got a coding problem with some events
And I’ve done a pretty decent PK Starstorm animation, and an all-right one for Freeze. Starstorm is not for this remake, don’t worry.

that sprite of the girl is an early pipi sprite, it as you can tell it is brocken

The pippi sprite should be 1.5 times wider and 2.5 times taller.

EDIT: Toast, change every bit of black in every enemy sprite to RGB: 5;5;5 becuase when i try to convert them, they turn out wrong. For example, the crow’s black spots are white.
So change the ENTIRE crow’s (and all the other enemies’) outlines to RGB:5;5;5

I’ll sprite if you need help. Send me an EB0 Character name, and I’ll re-do it into EB sprite form.
I can’t really do enemies though.

Well since I’m a little of a spritter(and rpgmaker xp tilset maker with already made stuff)

Hello Toast. Or should I say Toasty. Haven’t been on Saturn Valley Online for awhile cause of school. But thats beside the point.

I’d like to actually help you out here. I’m very good at putting sprites into rpg maker as you can see by attachment no. 1 which may help. I line them up and make sure they’re PERFECT. But thats only part of the use of me.

I can (not neccesarily will be needed to) get the text from the game to transfer directly into the game. I’ve already beaten it so I can go back anytime and get the text. (Most likely from other sources because heck if I’m going back into the bowels of he-l. I dont think you’ll need me for that.

I’m good at mapping but I’m sure you’re already done with that. But I’m not good at tileing. I suck. I suck. I suck. So don’t ask if I’m on the team.

Erm..what else…I could take a try at revamping. Yeah. I think I can try it. If you would give me an enemy I could revamp it to the best of my ability and show it. I’ll get to work on an example after I post this.

You must be kidding. Thats super easy. I’ll get right to it. But first I wanna show you this awesome recolor of a mook I did. I put it as an attachment. I cant really revamp sprites but I can do some frickin awesome recolorings if I do say so myself. The mook in Earthbound Zero looks very light and not much different from other enemies. The recoloring gives it a dark mysterious feel unlike the lighter version that literally uses white as a color. White. For aliens. Thats bad.

And ok. I attempted to put your sprites in. Its not possible without screwing crap up. You are using Rpg Maker Xp correct? If so I’m not entirely sure its possible to restrict him to taking up one tile. His sprites are so large that they take up more of the sheet than the boundries allow. If I were to use another of Rpg Maker Xp’s sheets (for monsters/people larger than one tile) he may take up 2 tiles which I know you dont want. So I dunno what I can do about ninten…I can try some things but I’m not sure if its possible.

well can you resize ninten by any chance? also the recolor is nice, i will consider it.

It should look something like this but with the text more organized, and atleast 16 bit

all i want is 16 bit, a slight bit of 3d, and it to use more then 3 colors, witch are perfuably not paints defaults, also i want it to be like EB zero’s title screen

This is take three there will probally be 1 more clean up.Hopefully I will learn lighting a little bit more.

Nah. I dont really feel like doing the title screen. I might try something else. I still hope I get to do the enemies cause its really fun to recolor and the result looks good in comparison to the original.

EDIT can i just slightly modify that sprite a bit to look a little bit more 16 bit? not mutch, just a little bit more shadeing, it wont be any major chandges

Yeah sorry if I give you troubles, but I have very little experience and I don’t know 16-bit to well….
but I think I will start working on EVE by the end of the week…
