Ok here I am back this time I have work done along with a website.

Ok here is the plot.

The game is in construction and no relese date is offical!

And also having a DECENT amount of work done and 2 screen shots. And a bit more content after that too, I bet people would be more interested when there’s some amount of content to look at

having ness and lucas in the same fangame seems really a childish and fanboyish thing to do, mick, you’ll get bashed on making so many flaws it will make your head spin, if you people to take you srsly,i really suggest you put more time and effort into the storyline, spend more time on your characters, and give them more meaning’ unlike “k heres mick and tommy there going on an adventure k bye” revise your town names, i’m pretty sure nobody can pronounce it, get spriters to make tilesets that match the spriting style i’m gving you. you`re pretty young, mick, actually, you`re no older than me by a couple of months, spend more physical work privately on this for about a year or so, to have spelling experience,RPGMXP experience, and form a team so you will start this game freshly prepared, people will see you mean business, and will suport you. you are full of ideas, so make use of your creativity and use your BEST in this game.

I must agree, this game dose seem to be a disorganized mess of huge proportion.

To pull of a good game constancy is needed, you need one style and one style alone, it seems here you have a few different game styles working here. Chose one and stick with it.

characters need to be original, the first place is to start is on paper, not computer. You need to take your time and design the right character, draw them out, make three (or more) different designs and chose the best and color when you’re done visualising in your mind their color scheme.

Story is the most important thing, with out this well planed, well written and reviewed by a friend who isn’t involved with the project, you are most likely to fail in the end. Take time with the planning process, know who you meet, when where, who the villain and how you will get to them and locations plan them carefuly. you cannot have character randomly appearing without a good reason or unless they relate to the actual plot as a main/support character

In a fan game i’m sure music is ment to orginal, mad by you and you alone not edit. Got to be made from scrap.

updating the screenshots, because if they are old as you say, they may give viewers a different view on the game. In a bad way, potentially, if it has improved since then. I also want to see how well it’s doing. ;D

I promised the team that I’d make some spritesheets… so here they are!

I made Greedy Mouse, Mr. Batty and Claus spritesheets. They all should be correctly aligned/transparentized/resized for RPG Maker XP. Right click, and save target as.

Not bad XXStone but the Clause’s feet should be at the bottom most part of the shadow. Other than that its perfect!

Another thing, stop calling him Clause, it really…doesn’t sound right.
Anyways, it doesn’t seem that hard to update the screenshots even if you do go to school.
And as I said before, it may generate opinions like XX’s, so I think this fangame would have a more
positive look if you update the screenshots. But, as long as you can finish the fangame to a point where you are happy with what it looks like and how other people will look at it, you can try and take whatever road you want.
(Except for the roads that obviously won’t come to that end.) XD

First thing I must ask why is he standing on his bed? The wall by the fireplace has some weird color and the house seems too empty.
I must agree with Flintbuza, the grass needs to be spaced out, there is an unreasonable amount of grass

I could easily go over dialogue and check for mistakes… if you need something like that gone over, just PM it to me.

Y’know, mick, I bookmarked your blog, but I haven’t seen it update evar. Am I to guess it’s not gonna update at all?

Anyway people have mentioned the grass, and I just wanna point out, the way the grass seems to work in the game is if you picture 4 tiles, the grass only goes into one of those. When 8 tiles match up, the grass shouldn’t be right next to another tile of grass. There should be a space of 1, but at least 2, between the grass tiles. And in clear areas like this, the grass tiles should be as spaced areas as possible.

If it looks bare after that, add flowers.

Second, I wouldn’t worry about characters before sorting out your World. We can see this little area, but what about a town? What about when you enter a dungeon? What about enemy-encounter areas, or areas between towns/villages/important clear-areas?

After all, a character’s nice and all, but what’s the point if that character’s got nowhere to go?
