Thanks for the kind responses, but as far as time goes, I'm pretty good so far. I did these pages in the span of a couple hours over two days, so as long as I stay consistent I should be okay. I can at least promise one page a week, since I'm only photoshopping rough sketches instead of shading full panels like I originally wanted to. And that's on a bad week, like if I have too much to work on at the moment. Infact, page 6 is already halfway done, and I plan on trying to finish Onett or get relatively close in the next few weeks. Since it's such a big story, and I want to cover as much ground as possible, time is a lot more important than art quality so bear with me until I find a good stride. :p

Page 6! It went a lot faster than I expected, though it was mostly text. I'm trying to get to the Starman fight since I want to draw a battle sequence, but random gags are always fun, too.

Yes, that seemed exactly like something Pokey would do. Him and his evil little heart, depriving kind hearted souls and their dogs of delicious cooked cow meats... shakes fist So cruel...

Anyways, now that I'm done laughing my ass off at their expressions and such, I wanna say I really liked this comic. Perhaps better than the other ones you already posted.

The evil look on Ness's face on that panel on page 6 totally reminds me of Light from Death Note. :lol: Once again, nice job.

I definitely laughed my ass off on Page 8 the most out of these last two. Something about the way King and Ness act around Pokey just cracks me up. I really like the humour in these. I don't think I've seen a telling of EarthBound's Prologue quite like this. It's got its own little charm. I rarely see people give King that much personality in comics.

I can definitely promise that, any sudden assassinations aside, I'd at least stop at a decent end if I really had to quit. I don't think it'd come to that, though. On a worst case scenario, I'd be down to one comic a week since I can go through them pretty quickly. The fact that I already have a number of gags written up for much later in the story would push me to get to the end even more, so don't worry. I won't be losing interest anytime soon.

That being said, here's page 10! Buzz Buzz arrives! Also, poor King gets written out now. I know he leaves before the meteor, but I wanted to keep him on for this last scene.

I have to admit, I was doubtful about this at first and ambivalent to the first strips, but I'm glad I withheld judgment, because now it's awesome and rapidly improving. I look forward to more!

The first few strips are really bland, though I'm surprised I managed to write any material at all up until this point. I love Earthbound, but the prologue was always something I liked to get over with quickly. The only downside is that Pokey is gone soon, and his lines in the game were always really entertaining.

And with that, Page 11 is done! Starman Junior finally appears! And we learn of his dark secret.

I love the PSI Shield Sigma panel because it makes Buzz Buzz look so awesome. Then we have the "objectionable" panel with the Pheonix Wright pointing, which is always fun to do. Gods, you are GOOD at this... I also like how your art style is evolving over the course of the comic.

With each strip I take a little more time just to judge how long it'll take per page, so the art will probably shape up a little bit more, still, since it's going at a fast pace. I probably won't do many big art panels that take up a whole page, though, just because I want to focus more on scene changes and story. If I do, I'll probably couple them with a second page before I post so you'd still have something to read along with it.

Page 12 is finished! Starman Junior's luck has run out, but he still has that old fighting spirit. Also, Picky gives us sagely advice. Perhaps Ness can make use of it in the future. There's a lot going on in this one, but it was originally two pages that I wanted to get done in one shot. Another couple comics and the prologue will be finished.

These are great so far, I like the style, and humor.

Wow! You're chuggin' along here with the prologue, and it's turning out awesome! I love how it sticks with the storyline, but you've changed the script a lot; it's unique. Some of the pages seem a bit too busy, as far as having a bunch of art panels and word bubbles; it makes the pages a bit too crowded, though I know your most recent one was supposed to be two pages.

Anyways, I can't wait to see how you progress through the upcoming chapter in Onett! I look forward to reading more!

Thanks for the compliments, and yeah, I definitely agree that the last one was too crowded. When I finished I looked at it and thought "I've created a monster." A big problem was that if you check on Page 11, I intended Picky to just sit on the sidelines at first with Pokey. Then it occured to me that Picky actually fights in the Starman Junior battle. I always wondered exactly what kind of spell he's trying to cast, so I ended up putting him into the action without having planned for it.

Unfortunately, this next page isn't a huge change, but I was too stubborn to cut anything out and I thought they may be a bit lackluster if I split them in four. I probably still could've broken up 12, but the flow of 13 seemed strange when I considered spacing it out. Admittedly, I'm in a bit of a rush to finish the prologue. I can't wait to start writing out story for Onett.

And so here it is, Page 13! The battle comes to an end with a tragic tearjerker. Also, Buzz Buzz somehow gets a watch that immediately disappears again.

Almost, the sun is starting to rise a bit. I figured I'd just show the progression into dawn instead of having Buzz Buzz tell Ness later on.

So, Page 14 is done, and back to the regular format. Now that Starman's story is finished, there's nothing left than to just go home. Easy enough, right? ...Also, this comic cannot be held responsible if you are traumatized by the horror that is Lardna Minch.

Page 16! Another short page here, though for obvious reasons. Buzz Buzz's big speech is coming up, and then the prologue is over. Probably another page or two, depending upon spacing and if I have any last minute ideas. Comedy takes a backseat here, since it's time for some drama. ...Well, not really.

Why haven't I noticed this earlier?! That Lardna Punch/SMAAAASH rocked my socks!

I have a feeling that this thing is going to be huge. Like, REAL huge. Maybe not Mani Mani huge, but still decently large.
